This menu has been setup for a user of the simulator to choose how many transformers are on a pole and the specific configuration of each transformer. Each transformer can be setup independent of one another.
How many cutouts are on this pole: |
|
This selection allows you to pick the number of cutouts you wish to use. The maximum number per pole is 4. Later in the simulator you will be able to energize or de-energize each cutout individually or all at the same time. At any time you can connect the wires directly from the transformers to each phase without using the cutouts. This will allow you to view the vectors being built as you connect the wires. Or you can simply energize all cutouts prior to wiring to have the same effect.

Are all transformers configured the same: |
|
When choosing 2 or 3 transformers, you can select if they will all be the same or if you want to make them different from one another. For example you might want 2 transformers to be additive and one to be subtractive. Or you might want to have 2 with series windings and one with parallel windings. This allows the user to try different possible types of configurations.
