Line Configuration - Primary

This allows you to choose a Wye distribution network or a Delta distribution network.  Grounded Wye is primary voltage that is Phase to Ground.  Delta is primary voltage that is phase to phase.  Grounded Delta is primary voltage that is phase to phase, and the first phase is grounded.  This will choose the desired vector later on the bottom vector wheel under the primary selection.

This allows you to choose a primary source voltage.  This is the primary voltage that each phase will be and is not the transformer voltage.  You can choose different voltages by using the arrows.  If you want to use a voltage that is not in the selected list, you can add customized voltages by clicking on the customize button.  Here you can type in the voltage you wish to have and pick Add.  Or you can remove any voltage in the list by typing the voltage you wish to remove and then pick Remove.  Both Primary voltages and Transformer Secondary output voltages can be customized in this area.

This is the number of primary lines on your pole.  The number of lines do not indicate Delta or Wye, the selection only produces the number of visible lines on the simulator.  You can choose up to 4 lines.  Each line is labeled for each phase.  Neutral can also be added.  The letters are labeled A, B, C and N.  These labels can be changed to numbers or other letters to match your training standards.  The order of the wires can be moved to match your standard.

To the right of the labels is a vector wheel representing the primary phases.  The degrees are also shown representing a total 360 degree phase relationship.  The vector relationship can be rotated to the degrees listed on the wheel.  The phases can be shown in a clockwise or counter clockwise relationship to the degrees.
